It was nice to come back to our little spot in the mountains of Puerto Rico where the weather is nice and we are no longer living out of a suitcase. Even though our home is in St. Croix, it does feel like home here for now, even if it is just temporary. Aaron and I have moved MANY MANY times in our life and have learned that it really is the small things that make a place feel like home. A few candles, my french press, dim lights for the patio, some nice rugs, a few decorations, my favorite kitchen items... It really doesn't take much. Once you know the things that make you comfortable, transitioning becomes easier.
Of course one of the first things we had to do when we got back was to grab a cup of Puerto Rican coffee. The little joys in life :)
