We headed out to Ridge to Reef Farm last Sunday afternoon just in time to catch the sunset, lay out our blanket, and relax with friends. This event brought out lots of families and was a ton of fun!
After everyone ate, they lit up the fires and we all enjoyed a show put on by Kiki and the Flaming Gypsies. If you have never seen fire dancers before, you are missing out! This is such an exotic and fun experience. I will never forget the first time Aaron and I watched fire dancers. We were in Roatan, Honduras for our honeymoon and one night (happened often) the power went out. Since it is no fun staying inside a hot room with no fans, we all ventured to the beach. All the resorts lit tea lights and tiki torches and we all grabbed a drink and were prepared to watch the stars until the power came back on. Then, out of nowhere, fire dancers came out to the beach. It was one of the most amazing and mesmerizing things I had ever experienced. I will never forget that moment :)
Here are some pictures of the event at Ridge to Reef Farm. Some of these came out a bit blurry... I probably need to figure out night and movement settings on my camera.
