We were able to do some exploring and have fun the last two days we were there and went four wheeling through the mountains one day. My fingers felt like an ice block after riding the four wheeler for 10 minutes. Probably needed some snow gloves. We had to stop a few times and warm up our hands. I haven't felt that tingling sensation since working in the freezing cold on the dairy farm when I was younger. Lets just say it brought back memories that make me happy to be living on a warm island :)
The last day was spent shopping (of course). We lucked out on shopping because of the cold. Summer clothes were on a super clearance so I was able to stock up :) I was a bit worried that I wouldn't have room in my luggage, but somehow I made it work If you have never visited Utah, I would highly recommend it. The snow capped mountains were beyond beautiful. Being from Texas, I am not used to views of mountains in the distance and each day amazed me. If it wasn't for the freezing weather, I would almost consider staying there longer….
It was a great trip off island, but I was very happy to be back home and breathe in the warm humid air when I stepped off the plane. Now time to get back to house and garden projects!
